| I agree with a lot of this post on the Farm Bill. I would like to see it all go away. I've taken payments before, it hasn't made or broke me. I would also like to see the insurance thing changed, the Gov. shouldn't be funding it. Get the prices up for our products, quit subsidizing things and let supply and demand try to work. But we also need fair trade rules so we can be profitable on a world market.
It's just like Social Security program, it got twisted around and bloated. Same as the Food Stamp program, I'm all for helping people that need help but it has become an entitlement program now. Anytime the Gov. gets involved they mess up a good thing. I would think could sure learn from our mistakes as a country , but no we keep repeating them. | |
