Southeast Florida
I would have to say yes with an equally ballasted tractor because the ILS is roughly 2,800 pounds heavier in the frontend to begin with.

After having to sign the repair bills on an 8420 we had with ILS there will never be another on my farm. With hired help there’s just way too much to go wrong if not diagnosed immediately cost a lot of money.

The other disappointment I had with ILS is the frontend not being ridged, drives some of this vegetable equipment crazy. The adjustments on the top link gets to ¼ turns on the adjustment the slightest difference in the frontend height is huge on the rear 3-pointhtch.

What I’m doing now is 7R is the largest conventional tractors I use and go to 9R’s. With a Sunco RTK guided 3-point quick hitch, and articulated tractor will drive just as straight as an 8R tractor. With an articulated tractor I can hang enough iron on it to stop the power hop and put all 460 engine HP to the ground.
