puff33m - 7/10/2012 19:52 Harvest in full swing in the Lower SE. Very few talking about double crop corn. Need a good price to grow 80 bushel high input corn. Figuring the land cost was already taken care of by the first crop, what does it cost to raise that 80 bu second corn crop? Unless it takes a lot more inputs/bu than 1st crop it would appear that it would make a lot of money if you really harvested 80 bpa. |
