California is importing ethanol from Brazil because it is so much better for the world to make ethanol out of sugar cane instead of corn. You would think they could figure it out that we export corn ethanol to Brazil and then  the same tanker loads up with cane ethanol and brings it back to California so how can that save on natural resources?
