Subject: Re: New Ford 6.7 liter

Central KS
I have always drove Dodge, but recently traded for a new Ford. I really like most things about the truck. It has good power, makes a lot better mileage than my Dodge did, and rides pretty well for a pickup. My one complaint would be that, if you pull a heavy trailer or have a load in the back it really squats it. When they came out with the 6.7, they removed one of the rear leaf springs to improve the ride. If a guy was going to pull a trailer a lot, you would want to add airbags or add some more springs. The other thing I miss from my Dodge is the jake brake. I you are wanting one more for mileage, get the FX4 package, it has 3:31 gears. If you aren't as concerned with mileage the straight 4x4's have 3:73 gears. It makes about 1.5-2 mpg difference in fuel economy.
