NC Kansas | We pay a couple of younger gals to clean twice a month. Cost is about $90 to $100 month. They mainly vacuum, dust, mop, swiffer and clean bathrooms. We share the remaining chores like laundry/cooking/cleaning up after meals as best we can. We both work full time, I farm with dad, and 2 year old and 4.5 year old in the house. If the cleaning gals wanted to raise rates by 50% I'd probably pay it. I hate cleaning, my wife hates it but always did it in the past. When we both work...and with me on the farm it seems like you spend all weekend cleaning and doing laundry that puts you in a cranky mood. We'd rather have time with the kids than spend Sunday afternoon scrubbing toilets.
