Before I got married I told my soon to be wife that I was an old fashioned kind of guy and I wanted my wife to take care of the kids, house and me, I would provide the income and home for the family. That has worked great for nearly 42 years and realizing that some things change and you need to make adjustments, I now even pick up my dirty cloths and put them in the hamper. Also the old RA has got into her hands bad enough that she can no longer knead the dough to make bread so I took over that job also. (Didn't take long to go buy a bread machine). Don't know exactly how it happened but now that I am semi retired, it seems that if she gets up in the morning before I do then I have to make the bed. If I try to get sneaky and beat her up, then I have to make coffee. Seems like I just can't win. 6 more days and I know that I'll have to take her out for dinner on our anniversary.
