Texas/New Mexico Stateline | I just washed dishes tonight....so yes I help with the cleaning depending on how busy I am. I ALWAYS pickup after myself. I never just throw dirty clothes on the floor and expect her to pick them up. That is demeaning IMHO. I can throw them in the clothes bin just as easy. From time to time I will wash and even hang a load of clothes out on the line.
I would certainly like things done neater and it is a point of contention between us. But I am not going to make it any harder for her than necessary. Wifey is a stay at home mom of 3 kids, so I feel like her "job" is to be a home economist and be a helper to me. |
