As the US herd shrinks and some heifers are kept back, further shrinking available US beef supplies, may there be a time coming soon where the packers are happy to have a decent animal regardless of color?

At this point, due a scarcity of cattle, will we see less price difference just on the basis of color and pay on quality/grade etc rather than color?
