The bred heifer deal has been very profitable for us the last couple years. Unfortunately i think that there's just too much risk now with what replacement quality heifers are going to cost, i.e, an 800 lb open girl is going to sell for what a 1000 lb P3 did just a couple years back. If the market was to take a hit that could get ugly fast...
