| Don't know if this will work for you or not...you have different soil and MUCH different moisture conditions than we do out west.
What I and a few others are doing if we need to rip a field is do just what your saying...rip and fertilize on 30" strips. We use liquid fertilizer and have the tanks on the tractor. Works well for us. That way there are nos traler tracks. I do know of one farmer that does pull a 1,000 gal. trailer. Wheels, of course, are spaced between the shanks. | |
