Just re-read your posts. "corn on corn" If you have a decent fall, where you can get through the stalks with ease, corn on corn will work. For us, the third year corn, we did loose profit, just too much trash. Maybe if most of the N was applied with the planter it would work fine, but we don't wish to add more equipment to our shed. Its a big shed and should not be full like it is! These comments are from our area ("ontrack" and I live about 65 miles apart). I Know it can be done in many area's of the country, but only know a couple with soils/climate like ours. Im a beleiver in Soils and Climate playing huge roles in production. Thanks |
