I have started something similar on dryland no-till. Double crop wheat after cotton then wheat again. Then go back to cotton after summer fallow. If it rains after 2nd year wheat I might try to make some sorghum hay. This year we couldnt get a stand of cotton even on summer fallow wheat stubble. So, it has sat fallow for 2 summers :(
