North Central Ohio, across the Corn belt !

southernokie - 10/12/2011 14:38 What about gypsum for subsoil acidity issues? Usefull? Or reliance upon ag lime + AMS + time + soil biology + soil porosity to move ag lime Ca deeper in the profile? Ag lime + HQ brioiler litter fall applied ahead of beans? Still add AMS or just muriate?.....70+- 55 to 60- 52 to 60 per ton typical manure analysis.

your sure on the correct path southernokie. good for you.

as I have posted before, for every 2 ton of litter, I suggest 100 to 200 lbs of AMS. 100-to-200 lbs of K and 20 to 40 lbs of dry 10 or 14% Boron for SUPER Bean yields. and soil building.
