Mid-Michigan | Thrd, you sure hit it on the head. When I was a kid, a long time ago, farmers in the neighborhood were always looking for kids to. Most had a herd of cows to mild, hay to make and whatever. Now mostly crop farmers and kids don't know how to run the new equipment and have no chance to learn. I think the kids are just as good as ever just a different time. You have to remember those young men and women who are serving in our armed forces are mostly the generation we are talking about. I think when I was a teenager in the fifties the older folks were saying we would not amount to much too but most of us made it okay. | |
