Thanks for the info MN Farmer. The fact is everyone that has different soils or conditions will have different results. Guys down south get much more decomposition in the fall/winter and don't need to worry about burying trash. Others have soil that will erode and can't run a plow. I'm also in MN and I think my biggest challenge is getting rid of trash. The darker the soil, the sooner it drys out and warms up in the spring in our part of the world. Everything used to get plowed around here 30 years ago. Now chisels and rippers are the norm. I don't think a plow is a bad thing and hope to try some this fall. Thanks for your thoughts.
