Northeast Louisiana | I'm in Louisiana, which is a long way from you, but we do corn on corn quite a bit. We disc it twice to chop/cover the straw right behind the combine. A little later in the fall we'll apply P&K and run a buster/roller to make raised 38" beds, which are rolled flat on top. Then we'll burn down early in the spring and plant on the beds with no additional tillage. Use a little extra N for corn on corn. | |
