Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA | Have done it all. We usually pull ring packers before the planter, but sometimes an Unverferth rolling harrow, and on 200 acres last year planted right behind the disk.
Some of the ground we have is too rocky for anything but a Wishek, you don't dare run a DMI or... well, anything but a Wishek. We had a 22' Schmeiser but kept breaking it. I had a set of packers custom built, three sections with no transports to help survive in the big rocks.
