Look into a product called Insultarp. We just are finishing our 7000 sq.ft shop and used the Insultarp. This came in 12'x50' rolls and is your insulation, vapor barrier, and also has a foil reflective backing to reflect the heat. I believe it is an R-7 insulation value and in super easy to lay out. We rolled this out on top of the compacted gravel then laid wire mesh on top of this to tie the tubing to. On top of that we put down #5 rebar on a 12" grid up on stands. We had an architect friend lay out our tubing pattern and he didn't want any runs over 250'. Also my plumber buddy recommended using rebar wire ties for the tubing as he said he has seen plastic wire ties break when the concrete guys are walking on it during the pour causing tubing to float. Definitely was ALOT of work but once we had it up and running this winter I would absolutely do it all over and I don't think I would do anything different!! Good luck
