| I agree, BUT, how many folks are paying money to someone who isn't really the legal titleholder? Or, there is in actuality, no legal titleholder? Those home are going to have to be? Refinanced somehow to get legal title? What happens when the house is worth considerably less than what is owed to the non-legal titleholder that is now getting the checks? My guess is a whole bunch of people are going to wind up with writedowns, and a whole bunch of fraudsters are going to get made "whole" via the American taxpayer AGAIN. Hope I'm wrong. | |
