They will set up a slush fund to save the stupid home owners who should not have bought those houses in the first place. (Paint big business as evil).

Who will pay for the slush fund?  The banks. 

Where will the banks get the money for the slush fund?  Profits from the people who manage their money correctly or the gov.

Why will they do it this way?  Because the gov. don't want the housing thing to fail on their watch.

Short term result.  More deficit spending one way or the other. 

Final result.  Dollar goes to zero.    Hello, the chickens are home.
