Not only are you creating a hard pan by scraping, you are destroying your OM and not having any cover crop what so ever.... LOL. Always interesting as to what is required to economically have the best odds to achieve what one can from an acre of crop land in other areas of the country/world.
It is painful to see as a die harder who watches his soil build and prosper with no-til. That bare dirt getting smeared etc... And to hear it STILL needs ripping, and bedding and such after this too is just OWEEEEEE!!!!
