Furrow irrigation. We furrow irrigate about 65% of our ground. We have the feilds graded at tenth and half slope for the water to run down the middles. Most our farms are anywhere from a tenth to 2 tenth fall depending on soil type. This is a regrade and pad work on this farm, was line graded about 15 years ago and has not been touched since. So we are going in and setting up on same settings it was leveled before and touching up and building the pad up from erosion over the years. We are averaging about 34 yards to the acre on this project. Next farm is a new level job and it is going to take 252 yards per acre to get it water the way we want it to.
