No we dont level every year. We nornally only come back in a feild when the pad needs reworking. We dont have to worry about the river getting out as we are 60 miles from the river. All high sandy loam ground here. Just need it level for irrigation purposes. When the pans leave the feild we well float it with a landplane and I will bed it up and sow wheat in teh middle with a paratill ripper bedder.
