| Yeah it makes the No-Till guys cringe. There are not many true no-tillers around here we are mostly min-till ridge-till. We bed in the fall and sow cover crop in the middles then flatten beds off a bit in the spring and plant.
Yeah we are hurting the farm a bit, but will rip it 16-18" deep when the pans leave and bed it up and sow oats in the middles for sand protection. Normally go corn 2 years to help on the OM degradation, but with cotton prices we will probably go with cotton this year. | |
