Heil Harvesting, Ulysses KS/Limon CO
Farm ground is a relatively low maintenance real estate. In turn it SHOULD return less, however ask someone how their condo is doing right now.

Farm ground is taken care of by the producer. If you want the ditches mowed, the ditches get mowed. If you want X done; X gets done. If not there never seems to be a shortage of producers who will jump on the ground.

Production and land ownership are two separate entities, EVEN if the producer is the land owner.

Condos are high maintenance, lots of tenants, etc. I could go buy a 1000 acres of ground and deal with one person. Matter of fact, I would have multiple people fighting over it. If I spent that money on condos would have to beg and plead and market and make concessions etc in good markets and bad markets.

Maybe the producer is the one who needs to re-evaluate here as opposed to the land owner/purchaser?
