I was at a public meeting concerning river water quality a few years back.

Some unintelligent or maybe too intelligent for her and everyone elses good (either way is bad) made a comment that she thought that septic tanks should be banned.

Since there are "rural water systems" in her mind it should be feasible to have "rural septic systems" that collect all waste water and pump it to treatment plants.

My only thought was "Wow, I hope that woman never gets elected to any position of importance".
