Just go ahead and plant. If you wait for a rain then you will have to wait for it to dry off, could make for late planting. Sometimes when it starts raining it doesn't know when to stop!
If there is some moiture it just takes longer to germinate the seed. If there is no moisture the seed will wait until moisture arrives.
