Hey Hay!

Years back as you know I use to be anti-NH3, things have changed, the other stuff is spendy.   Anyhoo.......   How much total rain fall do you have in that part of the world?     We here have similar CEC's, but the university folks frown on testing the CEC to the point of making a guy feel like an A-hole for asking, or trying to act like i might know something (Im a good actor).

They say the reason they don't want Nh3 put on until the ground gets below 50 degrees is so they say the Anhydrous converts to ? that will release into the air, or H20 and take it down into everyones well.   Are you talking NH3 for hay applications?

On a side note we have 40 acres of hay were growing for a neighbor, without getting into soil tests, would you have a recommendation for how much P&K we should throw out there?    Its the second year, havent put anything on this year.  We swap manure for it, so to be honest, the hay isn't on my mind.......but it would be kinda fun to grow some BIG hay numbers this year!

 Good luck
