On a 252, OmniStar XP and HP are both reported as type 4 (RTK) in the NMEA sentences. If you have VBS configured as a backup, VBS will be reported as 2 (DGPS).
You should be able to see this in the data when you have a laptop connected and hyperterminal open.
FYI, Firmware version 3.70 is out.
Since a 332 probably behaves like the 252, I'm assuming that Omni will be reported as type 4 which seems to be a problem for the Deere stuff. If VBS will report as a type 2 could Brahe purposely configure the 332 for VBS only as a test to see if this in fact the problem?
If this turns out to be the case then it would seem that the 332 is not going to work out for this situation. |
