Sometimes the new lines aren't always better. I worked for a regional company at one time, and they had the hottest new bean out. It topped their research program three years in a row (supposedly). This thing was the latest and greatest, and they wanted every one of their customers to try this bean. I had customers with pallets of this bean on order when I found out that due to inventory problems, I could only get a small amount. I had customers upset with me because I had to cut their orders and only give them a small amount of this bean. Most people got to try some though. That fall I had customers thanking me for limiting that soybean to them. That thing bombed big time, was discontinued, and never was heard from again.
