| Well, thanks for the advice everyone. I would like to just pull the engine, partially because I'd really like to get the gunk under the engine thoroughly cleaned and it will be difficult without pulling the engine, but I think it will be a little more wise to put it back together and do some troubleshooting and then pull the PTO. A complicating factor that makes me lean in this direction is that the combine is currently sitting in the shop blocking the removal of several other items that need to be moved in the not so distant future. If I pull the engine and get into a bigger mess than I thought I might, I will delay the ability to move that equipment. | |
