I actually have the service manual and probably should have read through it before posting this question. However, sometimes some first hand experiences are valuable in making sure you're sniffing in the right direction. We have a flow meter and pressure gauge, but I don't think it's small enough for what you're talking about. Maybe our dealer will let me borrow one. Let's say that the PTO is totally shot. Is that something that you can repair on your own? What kind of costs are we looking at? I'm a little disappointed that I have to do anything to it at all because the previous owner said he put $7000 into the PTO on it a few years ago. However, I have been disappointed in many things on this combine (no fault of the combine, more of the previous owner's lack of maintenance and my ignorance when I purchased it). |
