| Ron the best way we have found to do this is put 2O acre plots of varieties across a 160 and have applicator spray a 4O acre block crossways through the center. using gis software you can query each variety in sprayed zone versus unsprayed. Kinda hard to do but when drawing use footage tools to leave a 100 foot buffer where it was sprayed. This would leave 40 acres of spray data and around 55 acres on each side of spray zone as check. Got leave out 100 feet when sperating zones to get a true check. Planes have pretty big halo effect that is why it is hard to get good side by sides. Using an average of 2 zones unsprayed verus sprayed is as close as i think you can get. Unless doing it by groung which I am not a fan of. | |
