Sometimes it takes 80 years to get into position.
I say "Go For It when you can.
Had a very nice piece of ground near by coming up for sale
Awhile back.
I told My Daughter I was going to buy it.
I told Her that I would probably get a $1 mill loan on it
That would run for 30 years.
Told Her that I no doubt probably wouldn't live that long and
That She and Brother would likely have to make the
Payments when I was gone.
I just wanted to know how She felt about that.
Without. hesitation She promptly retorted to me ----
"I'm NOT making Your Farm Payments For You!!!!!!!!"
I sobered up after thinking about it and
I was just happy it brought more then the $1500/a that
I might of paid for it.
Such is life.
Lol.

So you were going to buy something, and during a time period, probably pay off some of the debt, thereby increasing your (and your heirs) net worth, but since it could not be guaranteed that ALL of it would be paid off, your daughter didn't want any part of this. That logic hurts my brain. |
