Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | I took a statin for a week. Didn’t like the side affects so I quit. Told my doctor a month later and all he said was “ok”. Really made me wonder why he put me on anything at all? Kickbacks come to mind. Didn’t even try to give me anything else which I would have declined.
Wife was on them for several years. I think her health and mental well being suffered because of it. She is off of them now also. Maybe doing better.
I don’t think we should be fretting about cholesterol unless it is really high.
I have had several people comment about how their parents health and minds deteriorated after being put on statins.
