Personally I know nothing at all and do not give advice. I do however have opinions and have certain doctors who I have found helped me with the information they provide. It is just information. It is up to the individual to decide what if anything they do with the information.
Being educated about a subject can give a person confidence in questioning their own health care providers by having a better idea of what questions to ask.

Edit: I would look at some of his latest interviews first as there has been quite a few studies in the last few years. So the later interviews will have the latest science included.
