Nw Iowa | I agree with a family meeting with only mom and dad and your sibling with a good estate attorney. I have a non farm sibling that is hearing what Mom and Dad want which is being fair to all involved but at same time my parents laying out what they want in front of attorney and all siblings. Certain land have different meanings to on farm siblings vs off farm siblings so things get split in advance of death or at least layed out so no surprises after passing of parents. | |
