I bought my first NEW pickup in the fall of 1976. Had used trucks before that.
It was a 1976 model so was a year old as 77 models were available then
GMC 1/2 ton 2 WD
Had all the pollution control equipment on it and ate gas.
Did keep it around until 1996 with a couple paint jobs and only used as second truck and FARM truck in later years.
what things used to cost...... ......
