| That would’ve been a lot more than that here . September 87 I priced a 2wd GM , $15,600 , dad would’ve co-signed being a GM . Grandfather heard about it, told me to pick out one I wanted . Well it was what I could afford easier just out of high school making $6 an hour , new 87 F-150 would’ve been 13,800 , I bought a new , leftover 86 , regular cab , 2wd , 300 with a 4 speed , plain Jane truck for 10,700 . Was $269/month for 5 years . I kept it 13 years , sold it then bought it back 9 years later hoping to rebuild it.
Edit : top pic was first winter I had it , 2nd was after body and paint job I had a friend do in 98 .
