When I turned 16,dad would let me have one tank of gas a week for my car. Ran short one Sunday afternoon and was in town. There was a gas war going on. Paid 17 cents/ gallon. Filled my tank for around 2 bucks. And the attendant even washed my windows. Today there is over 50 cents/ gallon in taxes.
