A friend & I were in Danville, IL. Thursday. Had to have a quick stop at a convenience store & I saw an advertisement in the window for a certain brand of cigarettes for 10.50 per pack and another (possibly Newport’s) for $11, I had to reread it thinking “surely not”.
what things used to cost...... ......
