| Jurors are not excluded from juries if they knew about the crime. Just like people on Agtalk, jurors come up with different views of guilty or innocence when presented the same news stories. In Chauvins case a pool of 325 potential jurors was whittled down to the final jury. This was done by both the prosecutors and defense throwing out potential jurors who showed to have bias that would preclude them from impartial judgement.
Even with all of that, they jury still came up with a guilty verdict when presented all the facts. | |
