I have scoffed at the cab design of the Tesla because it looks like it has a sleeper when the truck is only suited for what a day cab would be used for, but on further review it looks like much of the length is just an empty void that exists for aerodynamics.

Why would it need a sleeper with a 500 mile range?

To be able to go 500 miles from home, otherwise it’s a 250 mile radius truck.
