I sold water heaters years ago. Over the years probably sold 10 brands and all had the same results. One area about 6 miles away and within about a 2 mile circle you could count on replacing a new water heater 4 to 5 times in a 5 year warranty. Really crappy water. Most every where else would have an occasional failure in warranty but most would go 10+ years.
