My assumption is about the appliance builders. Obviously, the installer has no say in the matter, he can only install what is available. I just find it hard to comprehend that the appliance makers are conspiring to build cheap junk, and that no companies will build something durable as they used to. Sure it'll cost more, but the cost increase is well worth paying for.
Oh, I get it. It'd be like the medical profession conspiring to deny people effective treatment for a virus and instead pushing mRNA "vaccines" and threatening physicians with losing their licenses in order to ensure compliance.
