If you have 80k+ that is relatively evenly distributed, ie no big gaps and the beans are already up, I would leave them alone.


As for compensation, at the minimum, I would think that the seed that you planted and had poor germination, should be free or that many free units next year.   

As mentioned, those beans weren't worth anything more than commodity beans at the elevator and if they had already been treated they weren't even that.
