NW IL | So the real question is not really to stuffer or not to stuffer.
It is rather do you want to fill the stuffers and head to the lake and stay in the house, or run the TMR apparatus once or twice a day to gain that efficiency. No question the TMR system can be more efficient and flexible with feedstuffs, but it comes at a cost of equipment and routine labor.
I suppose the bigger and more cattle you have the more a TMR setup makes sense. Especially if you have hired labor to run it. | |
