NE SD | Are you talking the entire thing, or any acres on it at all? I think you're assuming when people take PP, they all aren't planting at all which is entirely false 99% of the time.
I have 15 acres that had 7 of it literally under water for 2 years while everything around it got planted. The high 8 acres got planted each year. It's an 80 split by RR tracks, and on the other side of the tracks, there were 2 spots also with water standing both years that could not be planted, but I got a crop on the rest.
It's not just people kicking back and saying screw it and not trying. It's bits and pieces here and there for the most part. | |
