2015 was awful in NWMO. That was one of the two times I mentioned where I took PP. We spread dry N on all the corn ground since it was too wet to put on gas and we wanted to be able to plant as soon as it was dry enough (wasted most of that $). We ended up having literally 1 day during April/May that we could get in the field. Everything we didn't get planted that one day was PP'd except for one farm we had just rented that was coming out of grass and wasn't eligible for PP. We planted it the first chance we had - July 3rd and 4th - and it made 19 bpa. That was also the same time people finally started putting up hay that year.
I hope to never have another 2015. | |
